When we experience chronic and severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for our lives to unravel. Sometimes we find ourselves struggling with everyday tasks, becoming easily overwhelmed or feeling disconnected from our life, goals and loved ones. Together we can find healthy perceptions of yourself and strengthen that feeling of connection.
I value your lived experiences and work from a systemic approach. My theoretical orientation is in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, narrative and solution-focused therapy. I am particularly passionate about mental health in people of colour and the issues of marginalization, discrimination and racism.
Reaching out for therapy can be difficult, so please be gentle with yourself. I offer a warm, non-judgemental space for clients to share their concerns. Should you have any questions, please reach out and I’d be more than happy to answer them.
